It was fun to watch croppers interacting and sharing their creations with each other. The eight vendors got into the act too by teaching classes and spending time with croppers showing them a wide variety of products, introducing some unique new products, and offering tips and tricks.
Part of the event venue was also open to the public for shopping. A steady stream of shoppers came throughout the day on Saturday. Some came from as far away as Midland and Bay City, Michigan and all did enough business with our vendors that six of the eight vendors signed up for our February Port Huron event even before the Waldenwoods event was over!
At Great! Scrapbook Events, we hope to build on the Waldenwoods experience by bringing croppers and vendors together at future events in a pleasant, comfortable and productive environment where everyone wins. We understand all too well that croppers and vendors are not just a part of our business, they ARE our business and we consider them our partners.
We would like to thank all those who made the Waldenwoods event a success. We thank our croppers for having faith in us to plan an event to meet their wants and needs. We thank our vendors for providing their expertise, their desire to help croppers with ideas, techniques, and finding just the right product for the job. We thank the Waldenwoods staff for cheerfully bending over backwards for all of us, going beyond simply what they agreed to do, and taking care of some last minute change requests. And of course we thank our Great! Scrapbook Events staff for bringing it all together and making things run so smoothly. Many croppers expressed delight with the professional and courteous service you provided.
